It’s been a long time!! We have kittens!!

Hi everyone!
Wow, it has been a long time since I updated this blog. I am thinking of starting a weekly YouTube channel so for any of you who are interested, please keep checking back for that info. I am thinking of posting info, advice, rants and personal stories on there as well as some music/photo storyline videos. Let me know what you think or send me your input!

Otherwise I had a little holiday these past few days and gave my eyes a much needed break from all the wedding photo editing! It’s been a crazy busy year so far, but I am super excited about all the amazing couples I have been meeting and working with.

Personally things have been great! The boys are enjoying their time off and we have had a litter of kittens! The two girls have already found new homes and I think I have relented to finally finding the little boy a home as well. 🙂 I am posting a few pics of the little babies.

Catching up! Some recent photoshoots!

Hey everyone!

Wow, it has been super busy! To catch up I am posting a few photos from my Owl photoshoot with model Kelsey Munro, makeup done by the fabulous Jennilee Cardinal Schultz and hair done by the amazing stylist/owner at Chop Chop Salon in Saskatoon, Amanda Dreis.

I was so so happy with how this shoot turned out! The Owl is an animal I admire greatly and I desperately wanted to turn this shoot into something high fashion! Believe me cutting up fur coats to make this owl costume was a little scary.. but in the end very rewarding!

A day at the races! Marquis Downs high fashion concept photography!

Hey everyone!

We had such a great night last night at Marquis Downs! The track was said to be closing sometime in the near future and it breaks my heart. I have had some wonderful memories at the track and I have always wanted to do a vintage fashion inspired shoot there! With makeup by the wonderful and talented Tamsen Rae and Leanne Smith as the beautiful Audrey Hepburn inspired model, we had such a blast putting this shoot together!

So many exciting things to look forward to!

Hey Everyone!

Wow, I am feeling so blessed right now! I have so many amazing things to look forward to this year, including another Destination wedding in Mexico with this wonderful and awesome couple! The best part.. I have known the brides mother and sister for years from being in dog shows! I am so excited to take photos of this couple and I am truly blessed to have such wonderful clients.

Off duty clown… Concept shoot!

Hey everyone!

I can not tell you how much better I am feeling since my last surgery, thank goodness! I am so excited to be getting back to feeling like myself!

Well I was so stoked to do the photos for an awesome concept makeup project that the beautiful & talented makeup artist Tamsen Rae came up with! I was also really excited to work with the model Loren who I think did a crazy wicked job of this shoot!

A crazy couple of weeks and some GRAD photos!!

Hey everyone!

Well I have to say, it’s been a crazy couple of weeks! I have definitely had a lot going on, but not in a great way. I unfortunately have had some medical situations that caused me some great pain in more ways than one. I ended up going for an emergency surgery a little over a week ago and I am still reeling from the physical pain and the emotional pain of some things I had to let go of in the process. It’s been a journey that has taught me a lot about what types of people I want in my life, and also has given me the push to make some serious lifestyle changes! Most of all, I am putting my family and my health first instead of putting everything and everyone else before my own life. Being told that your life is threatened and at risk is definitely the push I needed to get my life back on track and become a healthier, happier, better me! I am excited to start working towards some personal goals, but I am also very excited to be done with these medical issues and get back to my life and feeling like myself. I have a surgery tomorrow (hopefully if everything goes as it should with tests!), so wish me luck! Fingers crossed they are able to completely remove everything they need to and life can go on with some new improved changes in place 🙂

I am going to be playing catch up on some photos I have needed to upload for awhile! I am posting today some grad photos from Imperial, Saskatchewan! I was so excited to take part in helping celebrate their amazing day and milestone in their lives and I am wishing them the very best in all of their future endeavors!

Get back in time! 80’s inspired photoshoot! Sneak peek!!!

EEEEEK!

So pumped with adrenaline from an amazing shoot today with makeup artist Jennilee Cardinal Schultz, hair stylist Amanda Dreis from Chop Chop Salon in Saskatoon and the beautiful and wonderful model Brenna Synagogue! Had so much fun putting together this 80’s style shoot with Jennilee and it couldn’t have turned out better today!
